Department at a Glance: D. R. College, Golaghat, accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC), with ‘A’ grade was established in the year 1949. The department of Education is one of the most popular and oldest departments of this college. Considering as an indispensible part of higher education, the subject education was introduced in the D.R. College in the year of 1962. Professor Nripen Phukan was the pioneer teacher of the department. As Professor Nripen Phukan left the job for some other appointment, Professor Tarun Kr.
